De Nijensteen Farm is the home base of d.o.b foundation and provides extraordinary space to groups.
Here you will find the space you sometimes need in your work to discuss an important design or to achieve something with your team.
For whom?
Whether you work in business, in government or for an NGO, at De Nijensteen Farm everyone that is striving to have a positive effect on the world can come together to develop plans. d.o.b foundation would like to bring about cross-pollination in the sector and between disciplines so that we may inspire and learn from one another.
Where?
Our stylish, renovated farm lies next to the river IJssel. The buildings are spaciously designed and are surrounded by 46 hectares of outdoor space that is very suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities. The old pear orchard, the organic apple orchard, pastures, the Wetering watercourse... are all a part of it. You can take walks, gaze at geese and cows or reach for the skies on the trampoline.
Possibilities
De Nijensteen Farm is a place where you can clear your head, open your heart and get down to some serious thinking. Discussions, brainstorming, team building, quiet reflection – regardless of what you seek – De Nijensteen provides a range of possibilities to facilitate it way beyond the level of open space.
Exchanging Thoughts
You can ask us to help you clarify exactly what you want to achieve. We would be happy to think with you about the best way to approach your meeting. Playing with lines of approach, the decor for the space and other forms of consultation can inspire your team to be more productive and effective as a team. We can also help to make your meeting a success through the formulation and design of communication materials.
Variation
De Nijensteen Farm allows you continually to change your location and surroundings and thus retain a fresh outlook. Whether you are actively sitting at a table in the hayloft or lying lazily in front of the open fireplace; whether you choose high or low chairs in the living room; or whether you sink into the comfort of the sofa in the dike room or meet one another outside in the hay barrack – it can make a big difference!
Accommodation and Meals
During the day, there is room enough for 20 people in the house and, in special cases, for 100 people in the potato shed. We provide meals tailored to your needs; adapted, if necessary, to reflect the subject or goal of your gathering. There is sleeping accommodation for 20 people (10 single rooms and five double rooms with bunk beds).
